Erin's eyes widened as they reached the mansion and spotted Nathan's two dogs waiting for them to exit the car.
Her lungs are gasping and her spirit is trembling, and she is terrified of big dogs in black.
When one of the dogs smelled her legs and licked them, she murmured, "Oh my goodness..."
She said, "Get your dog away from me...", and Nathan just smirked and looked at her, watching her reaction. "That's why I don't like living here because you're so annoying!" she exclaimed, pounding her feet as she walked.
"Take the dogs to their room, James; I have to deal with the goddess." Nathan issues a command to his bodyguard, James. He enters the mansion and searches for Erin; he feels guilty about himself for doing this and is unable to explain his real intentions. That, he believes, is his weakness.
He also felt sad for Erin since he knew that her parents had recently died and that now someone had recognized her biological mother, as if this had happened to him, he would have exploded in rage too. He remembered his father, who was excited to see him, but he had no intention of meeting him. Since Nathan was angry with him for abandoning him when he was young, and his father was already unwell, seeing him one more time would be consoling.
Nathan pondered why life was so unfair to him. Why is it that the person who has a complete and loving family is less unfortunate unless he has everything he desires all over the world but can't find someone who will truly love him, he feels like he's the only one who loves and protects. He came to think about it, and perhaps it is time for him to love himself and recognize his own worth. However, he may require this in order to discover his worth and to meet someone who truly loves him. He's finished chasing the woman he'll know he'll lose someday since he appears to be imprisoning this woman with his own hands and doesn't realize he's already strangling the woman he loves.
Erin notices Nathan's misery in his eyes, the stress and anguish, and she feels guilty about it. Is it because of her? Erin would have spoken something, but Nathan just walked away, leaving her speechless. She was mystified and narrowed her eyes, wondering why Nathan treated her so differently.
Erin pondered why and what could have caused Nathan's behavior. Is it because of the number of problems they face that she remains stubborn and refuses to follow Nathan; she knows their lives are in danger now, but she still desires freedom? She lowered her head on the stairs as one of their maids carried a dead flower, "what is that?" she inquired.
"Ma'am, this is for you..." the maid replied, concerned. She goes downstairs and opens the letter to see who sent it. "Marga..." Erin said and she raised her eyebrow,
"Put this in the trash…" she told the maid and immediately go into her room, she shouts in her anger with the bitch woman who always annoy her ever since she came into the life of Nathan.
Her brow furrowed as she remembered what was written on the card, telling her to go to eternal damnation. She thought that she shouldn't be upset because Marga might think she's a loser, and that she should just breathe in and breathe out. She tells herself to be calm, but her true desire is to wipe Marga's face violently.
When Nathan arrived at his family's mansion, he was met by a warm hug from his mother and younger sister, who had heard about what had happened at Luke's rest house earlier.
"However, I want this woman out of your life, brother! She is no longer able to assist you with your problem! She's still causing you a slew of issues. As James previously stated, you were on the verge of death as a result of the prior occurrence, so it's a good thing you're still alive! I'm going to chastise that woman if she doesn't show up! This is no longer acceptable! If you go with Marga, your life will be less hectic..." Mika exclaimed with her face full of anger thinking Erin is the real problem with the life of her brother, she can't afford to lose his brother.
"Nathan, Mika is correct! Keep your distance from that woman! You don't have a serious relationship with her, so why do you go out of your way to protect her?" Romelia said, the mother of Nathan.
"Don't talk to her like that, you have no idea what she's been through and how difficult it is for her... just be kind to people, Mika... don't pass judgment too quickly," Nathan said to Mika and softly tapped her head. He turned his gaze into his mother who look disappointed in him for what he said to Mika.
"But Brother!" Mika exclaimed, pouting.
"There are no buts, Mika..."
"Mom...come into my office...I have something to tell you..." "Nathan said to her mother,"
Her mother face lit up and she replied."What exactly is it, Nathan..."
"It has something to do with your ex-husband..." Nathan says as he enters the mansion to investigate his office.
"Mika...wait for me downstairs and talk to Marga about the next plan, I don't want your brother will end up with Erin."
And it appears that everything is working against them to ruin their relationship.
